Taught as a small child to knit, sew and garden by my grandmother and mum, I then followed my mum into primary school teaching. All the time sneaking time for making and designing. After 25 years of teaching and two children of my own, I made the leap into full-time making.
I have been able to work with some wonderful makers and have time to develop my skills, continuing my love for all things textile – fibre, fabric, thread and of course our garden!
I am lucky to be able to live and work in a lovely thatched cottage in rural Devon with my partner, two children and several hens.
